Last weekend we took a trip to Rochester. We time our yearly trip to coincide with the Hill Cumorah Pagaent. In addition to seeing the pageant, we spent time at the Strong Museum, the Rochester Science Musuem, the beach, the Public Market, and the Zoo. Rochester is a great city with endless activities for kids and families. We were able to visit with some friends who we haven't seen in years.

FORTH OF JULY WEEKENDWe had a great 4th this year. Connecticut fireworks laws are very strict so we decided to take a drive up to New Hampshire to see if we could find any of the fireworks that Jason loved as a kid. We found most of them (nothing crazy) so we bought a car full of fireworks. It was a great time and we put of a great show for the neighborhood kids.

Luke wasn't quite strong enough to throw the poppers on the ground and actually make them pop so he loved stomping them.
Vivian got a new bone for the 4th which she loyally guarded until the 7th. She didn't move from this position unless someone would drag her inside.

We bought a case of "Tanks" and box of "Ground Bloom Flowers" and a few other fund fireworks. Jason couldn't wait until dark to start setting them off.
